Who is Jodi Kendall? - Jodi is a traveling machine. She is also one of Wanderfly’s very first curators and yesterday kicked off our new curated newsletter with some of the finest eco and wildlife destinations around. She’s a writer, world traveler, wildlife conservationist, and marathoner. Jodi’s digital media content is represented on many significant websites including the Nat Geo Channel and Nat Geo WILD. Let’s get to know her!

Getting to know Jodi

Wanderfly: What’s your favorite destination? Why?
Jodi: It’s impossible to pick just one. But if I had to make a choice, my favorite destination is a place that’s close to home: the Outer Banks. Our family has a long and special history with this area of North Carolina, and it’s where I married my husband over eight years ago. Other favorite spots around the world? Hong Kong, Sedona, Salzburg and Barcelona.

Wanderfly: What’s your favorite thing to do on a trip?
Jodi: Some kind of adventurous experience – from flying trapeze classes to hiking in the rainforest to swimming with sharks. I’m the type of person that’s up for anything!

Wanderfly: Where are you going next?

Wanderfly: Where do you most want to visit?
Jodi: It’s a tie between Italy (for the culture and cuisine) and Iceland (for the great outdoors).
